Family Dynamics
The family we grow up in becomes our first blueprint for relationships.
Your families are often the first place we learn about love, conflict, boundaries, responsibility, and connection. It can take stepping outside of that familiar environment to realize just how much those experiences have shaped us.
Maybe you're struggling with boundaries with your in-laws. Maybe your parents are divorcing or aging, and you're figuring out what your relationship looks like now. Maybe you're in college and realizing you respond to your partner the same way your parents responded to each other.
A sibling may be struggling with an eating disorder or addiction, leaving you unsure how to support them without taking on more than is yours to carry. Or maybe you simply know that something about your family relationships feels complicated.
Those patterns don't necessarily stay in childhood. They can show up in our romantic relationships, friendships, parenting, and the way we see ourselves.
Together, we might explore enmeshment, codependency, boundaries, family roles, and patterns that continue to show up in your relationships. We can also make sense of family changes like divorce, aging, addiction, or other major transitions.
What Can We Work On?
You don't have to bring your whole family to therapy. This work can be for individuals navigating difficult relationships with parents, siblings, in-laws, or children. It also can be for individuals who are rying to understand how their family shaped them.

What Do You Want to Carry Forward?
Not everything from your family needs to change. We can identify the strengths, values, traditions, and relationship patterns you want to keep while becoming more intentional about the person and relationships you want to build.
